Music

Music has always been a huge part of my life. My grandma can sing like an angel, my mom can too, so I decided I should continue the legacy. There is always a huge debate on music. There are so many varieties, like choral, pop, country, rap, rock, opera, and so much more. But what is “music”? To me, music is an expression of myself. I can’t try and be anybody else but myself when I sing or play. I have my own unique voice that is like a signature. For example, any audition piece is exactly the same. Everybody has to sing the same exact thing. What separates the good singers and the great singers is the love and interpretation. It’s all about making it yours and only yours. It’s every bad night you’ve ever had, or every happy day you’ve ever experienced. Music is about your life, and what you have been through, good or bad. Great or horrible. But most importantly, it’s self-love.
